And So It Begins

I know a lot of school superintendents, I was one for nearly 30 years.  Anytime a group of us get together someone will say, I could write a book.

Of course, we never do.  Politics, public exposure or risk of messing up your current situation with these stories coming out of your past.

Well, I started this blog, to give us a chance to post up some of these stories.  I don't want to know who you are, go get a blind email account that won't come back to bite you and come tell a great story.

To the extent that I can, I'll police up our content so that school superintendent as a group don't get misrepresented, but other than that, I think we ought to get some of our stories off our chest.  I also think it would be good if we were not location specific in our recollections.  No since in limiting a good story because you try and skirt around that one.

We'll see how this goes.  If no one steps up, I suppose I'll go first.
